Common Return Questions
HATCH is happy to offer extended holiday returns for orders placed from November 15th through December 5th. If your order was placed from November 15th through December 5th, you will have 45 days to initiate a return or exchange.
Is it easy to return items?
Once your return is authorized, you'll receive step-by-step instructions and a prepaid shipping label via email.
How will my refund be processed?
Once your return is initiated, our system will issue an instant refund voucher that you can use to place a new order on our site while your return is on the way back to us. If you choose not to use the instant refund voucher, you will be refunded to your original form of payment.
I used my instant refund voucher on a new order, how will my refund be processed?
If you used your instant refund voucher in full to place a new order on our site, we will process your return and no outstanding refund will be issued, as the return funds have already been redeemed.
If you used only a partial amount of your instant refund voucher, we will issue the remaining balance to your original form of payment.
If you placed an order using an instant refund voucher, and then choose to return that order, you will be refunded to your original form of payment from your original order. This applies if your return is received and processed by our warehouse within 120 days of the original order date. If we receive and process your return outside of this timeframe, you will be refunded to a gift card.
How soon will I get my refund?
Once your items are received and processed by our warehouse, you'll get your refund typically within 3-7 business days.
What items are returnable?
- Items purchased in the last 30 days.
What items are non-refundable?
- Items marked as final sale.
- All international orders are final sale.
- Free gifts or promotional items with retail value.
How can I return my marketplace order?
If you placed an order through J Crew Marketplace, Madewell Marketplace or SomethingNavy Marketplace, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate a return.
